Wisteria, Dogwood Flowers & Greenery. “The Garden” Pair of purples I & II, floral painting inspired from the scripture in Genesis 1:11-12. 8x8in canvas set.

Genesis 1:11-12, “Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.”

"The Garden" Collection Inspiration

"I LOVE flowers! Whenever I buy roses or anything at my favorite flower shop, or flower truck, I constantly look at them in total AWE of their beauty. For a while now, I have kept on thinking about why as humans, we crave that natural beauty found in flowers and foliage so much. And it reminded me of the Garden in the Bible, (Genesis 1:11-12) the Garden of Eden where everything was perfect & good as God had created it to be. Until Adam & Eve sinned & were cast out of the Garden of Eden. What’s really cool is how that same garden is mentioned again but in Revelation, it says that one day the Garden of Eden will be restored (Rev. 22) And basically we are between these two gardens awaiting for the day of restoration when Christ comes back & we will be back in that garden of perfection. It’s such a beautiful symbol to me of Christ’s return when I see flowers and their beauty. God didn’t have to give us flowers— but even so they are such a sweet promise of the Lord’s coming that I want to continue to hold on to."
