| How it all began...  I was struggling to raise money for my mission trip last summer and asked God what I was supposed to do to help generate some funds. I had received some money, but not near enough. I was just waiting on others to send me money. I thought “What talent can I use to raise some of this money? Maybe I’m the one that needs to take some responsibility and then God will provide the rest of the money.” I had picked up painting as a hobby and decided to sell canvases with Scripture verses painted on them at church. To my amazement, a lot of people were interested and I sold a lot. The week before I had planned to sell my paintings at church, God provided the rest of the money. I finally put my own action to my need through a talent God had given me and he provided! Now every time I sell a painting I write 2 Corinthians 9:8 on the back to remind how God will always provide all I need and more. | |
